Fulton prepares to implement indoor smoking ban

FULTON, Mo. — With the indoor smoking ban to go into effect on Dec. 4, the city of Fulton is working to notify local business owners about how the new law will affect them and how it will be implemented.

Fulton administrators sent a letter to business owners within the city limits, reminding them of the impending change, as well as giving them a copy of the no-smoking ordinance that was passed by Fulton voters on Nov. 2.

Wow they didn't waste any time implementing this in time to hurt the bars for their most financially successful months- thanksgiving to new years. At least JC had the decency to give bar owners time to adjust and build alternative smoking areas and get through the holidays. Ouch.

i've heard some bar owners are already talking about moving out of fulton i can see both sides of this though for smokers its bad but if you want to go enjoy a dinner and u dont smoke well then its good

Question is, where in FULTON are we eating? To hell with that! I say, if you're gonna rent a bus, let's roll to KC and go to The Plaza. Plenty good eating and drinking there!
