Missouri nonprofit to join overseas trade mission

ST. LOUIS (AP) - A nonprofit economic development organization from Missouri will join a trade mission to France and Belgium.

The Commerce Department says the trip is scheduled for Nov. 29 to Dec. 4 and will promote clean technology and U.S. exports.

Twenty-five businesses and community organizations are going on the trip, including the St. Louis-based Missouri Partnership.

The Commerce Department says the delegation will attend an exhibition of environmental equipment, technology and services in France. The event - called Pollutec - will give them the chance to meet with potential trading and investment partners.

In Brussels, delegates will discuss green technology with public and private sector officials and Belgian entrepreneurs.
