Jefferson City 5-year-old Avery Phillips, center, will play a young Quinn Fabray on this week’s episode of “Glee.”

Many people have been trying to break into the Hollywood scene longer than 5-year-old Avery Phillips has been alive.

The Concord Christian School kindergartener has a small scene on this week’s episode of “Glee,” the popular musical comedy-drama series airing at 7 p.m. Tuesday on Fox.

Avery plays a younger version of the character Quinn Fabray during a scene in which the team’s coach, delirious from a fever, sees the team members as children.
