Students express appreciation for bravery, sacrifice of veterans

‘You inspire me to do great things’

The night was about showing appreciation, and each veteran asked said they felt just that and more.

Veterans Appreciation Night, hosted by Jefferson City High School’s Ambassador Club, invited more than 250 of the area’s finest.

Organizers estimated more than 265 veterans and guests came to the event, which included a Wall of Honor, donation dropoff location for the Patriot Tree, entertainment and camaraderie.
