Angel Tree program bestows gifts - tangible, intangible

With wide eyes, a whispering voice and pleasant manners, 3-year-old Cervante slowly paged through a catalog sitting on the table next to where his mother was signing up for The Salvation Army's Christmas Assistance program.

Perhaps one of the toys in those dazzling images will be provided by a benevolent community member this holiday season through the Angel Tree program.

Help out

Angel Tree tags will be available at Kmart, the Capitol, Lincoln University, both Walmarts and JCPenney through Dec. 8. Other locations that would like to have Angel Tree tags may contact The Salvation Army at 573/635-1975.
