St. Joseph police ID shooting victim

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP) — St. Joseph police have identified a teenager who was killed in an apparent accidental shooting.

Police said 18-year-old Dakota Nell was shot Thursday and died later at a hospital.

Police said the shooting appears to be accidental, but the investigation is ongoing. No charges have been filed.

Police are not releasing the names of the individuals involved.
