Voss makes history for Blair Oaks

Brett Voss ran himself into Blair Oaks history Saturday in the Class 2 State Cross Country Championships at the Oak Hills Golf Center in Jefferson City.

The sophomore became the Falcons’ first all-stater, as he came in 14th with a time of 17:18.69. Don Figgins of California edged Voss for 13th place, finishing in 17:13.12.

Herculaneum won the team title with 71 points, while Fatima finished sixth in the team standings with 142.

On the girls side, the Lady Falcons finished ninth with 221 points.
