NEW YORK (AP) - Brandon Dubinsky's second goal of the game, a power-play tally in the first minute of the third period, snapped a tie and helped the New York Rangers to a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday night.
Patrick Kane answered that goal to tie it at 2 at 6:08 of the third, but Erik Christensen put New York back on top just 28 seconds later.
Dubinsky, who leads New York with seven goals, got the Rangers even 1-1 in the final minute of the first period. Both goals were set up by his linemates Ryan Callahan and Artem Anisimov. Henrik Lundqvist made 33 saves as the Rangers won their second straight and earned just their second home victory (2-3-1).
Chicago's Tomas Kopecky also scored and Marty Turco stopped 20 shots for the defending Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks, who had defenseman Brian Campbell in the lineup for the first time this season after he recovered from a knee injury, but dropped their fourth in six games.
Flyers 3, Hurricanes 2
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Scott Hartnell scored two goals and Claude Giroux added one to lead Philadelphia over Carolina.
Playing without center Danny Briere, who began a three-game suspension for a crosscheck on the Islanders' Frans Nielson on Saturday, the Flyers won their fourth straight after losing four of five, and took over sole possession of first place in the Atlantic Division. The Hurricanes have lost two of three.
Hartnell's first goal came at 12:29 of the first period. He scooped up a rebound of Jeff Carter's shot, and, with his back to the net, flipped a shot past Justin Peters' glove side.
Carolina's Patrick Dwyer tied the game early in the second period when his wrist shot beat Sergei Bobrovsky, who was making his fourth straight start. Jeff Skinner, the seventh overall pick in the 2010 draft and, at 18, the youngest player in the league, assisted on Dwyer's goal, collecting a turnover by James van Riemsdyk.
Canucks 3, Devils 0
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Raffi Torres and Ryan Kesler staked Vancouver to a two-goal lead, and Roberto Luongo made 30 saves in the Canucks' victory over New Jersey.
Henrik Sedin rounded out the scoring on a penalty shot with 6:17 left as the Canucks, playing their first game in six days, won their third straight and improved to 5-0-1 on home ice.
Martin Brodeur finished with 20 saves for the Devils, who are off to their worst start in 27 years at 3-9-1 and last in the NHL with just seven points.
