Helias cruises through semifinal at district soccer tourney

BOONVILLE, Mo. — The Helias Crusaders scored twice in the opening 10 minutes Monday and cruised to a 4-0 win over the Fulton Hornets in the semifinals of the Class 2 District 11 soccer tournament.

Helias (13-9-1, seeded second) will face top-seeded Marshall at 6 p.m. Thursday for the title. Marshall defeated School of the Osage 4-0 in Monday’s second semifinal.
