Cole County grand jury indicts 10

The Cole County Grand Jury issued 10 indictments in a variety of cases last week, including a Jefferson City woman who set her daughter's vehicle on fire in October because of an ongoing argument the two had.

Iasha Cannady, 36, 1613 Chaddsford Drive, is charged with knowingly burning or exploding, and possession of the controlled substance hydrocodone.

In a separate case, grand jurors indicted Christopher L. Thompson, 35, 605 Houchin St., for a Sept. 19 incident. The six-count indictment charges Thompson with first-degree domestic assault for allegedly spraying gasoline on a woman and using a lighter to try to set her on fire.
