Jefferson City woman faces rape charges

A Jefferson City woman has been charged with two counts of second-degree statutory rape.

According to court documents, Amy Wallendorf, 28, of 6511 Village Drive, involved male juveniles who were under the age of 17 in the incidents.

As of Thursday, Wallendorf was being held in the Cole County Jail on $100,000 bond.

In interviews with authorities, one victim said he met Wallendorf through friends and began having sexual intercourse with her in February when he was 15.

He said the relationship lasted through July and that he and Wallendorf had sex on numerous occasions.

The victim said Wallendorf supplied him with different kinds of drugs and alcohol, including but not limited to ecstasy, Vicodin and Wallendorf’s prescription Adderall.

The victim’s phone was forensically examined. A video taken by the victim was recovered depicting a topless Wallendorf lying in bed with the victim, therefore corroborating their relationship.

The victim’s mother provided authorities with copies of Facebook messages she had printed from Wallendorf to the victim. These messages indicate Wallendorf picking the victim up from school and his neighborhood. Wallendorf refers to the victim as “snuggle bunny” in these messages, as well as telling him she loves him.

The second victim interviewed by authorities said he met Wallendorf through a mutual friend and spent the day with her in Memorial Park in November.

The victim told authorities that he concocted a story and told his mother he was staying the night with a friend.

Once back at Wallendorf’s residence, the victim and Wallendorf engaged in smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol, both provided by Wallendorf.

The victim said he and Wallendorf then had intercourse.

The next day, the victim’s mother questioned him about his whereabouts and the victim told his mother where he was and she came and picked him up from Wallendorf’s residence.

Authorities are investigating another case involving Wallendorf having sex with a minor.

During their interviews with both boys, authorities said there were consistencies in their involvement with Wallendorf and how a piece of wood on her bed was broken and kept falling off.

Authorities attempted to interview Wallendorf, but she invoked her right for an attorney and refused to give a statement.

A 15 year old is not legally or ethically old enough to be "willing" for a reason. They lack the maturity of brain development to make good decisions. They are easily influenced by older people who lead them astray. These laws are on the books to protect children (at 15 you are still very much a child) from predators who are afflicted with pedophilia issues.

you're obviously a child , if anyone fed you opiates and x you would be "willing" for anything. till you sobered up and realized what just happened to you. you must be young, when i was in my teens i would of thought all the sex and drugs were great. its not till you grow up and or have kids that you see how influential an adult is over a child. i hope the victims and family's recover.

Noname: The damage she did will never be forgotten! People have NO CLUE how hard it is to deal with. How does a 15 now 16 yr old deal with the fact of thinking he was the stepdad of the 2 young boys because she had the 2 young boys call him "Daddy"!!! The pyschological damage is far greater then anyone can imagine...especially USMC00!

You people are amazing! If this story had been about a man offering drugs and booze to young girls you would have all been screaming to lynch him but since its a woman doing the same with young boys then you say things like " you cant rape the willing"- disgusting!

For those of you stating that the boys are not saints and you cannot rape the willing.. None of that even matters. The fact is A 28 year old man or woman has no right or business having physical relations with any 15 year old. Wouldn't matter if sex was initiated by the child or not, It is the responsibility of the ADULT to avoid the behavior totally. One 15 year old could be called a mistake, but 2 and 3 make her a pedophile. '

Flip this around - if a man had raped 2 girls of the same age as these boys - there would be no question about if this was right or wrong. Most of the comments here wouldn't even be brought up.

there is no guilt where 15 year olds are concerned where the partner was 28 years old. The guilt lies solely on the ADULT. She was in control of the situation, not once but twice. She did not have them at the same time, this was months apart, and an ongoing relationship went on with one for several months. Not to mention they are investigating a 3rd.

without being judge and jury, according to her fb page, this woman was not only a barfly but hung out at the skate park and has many teens listed as her friends. This screams predator and it is amazing it has gone on as long as it did.

She is a very sick individual who needs some serious help! Her whole life revolved around "teens". On her facebook page why does she call boys instead of men in her comments? I'm surprised at the comments about the boys being guilty!?! You have no clue about these boys! It is one thing for the teen boys to have done drugs but another for them to sit back and watch the 4 & 6 yr old be given drugs as well? These teen boys aren't guilty of one single thing!! By the time this is over, how many more boys will come forward? I guess there will be more to come. There was no stopping her...OBVIOUSLY!

This lady should be put away for a long time! Even though drugs seem to be a way of life for many teens these days, here we have a mother with two small children allowing such activity in the home. What kind of impression and mental anquish has she put her children through? This lady seemed to never grow up. Looks like she lived in a fantasy world and thought she'd never get caught. I can't believe she didn't realize teens talk not only to their peirs but some (yes) to their parents. Her fb page (info and interests) not only shows a very troubled woman but one who's whole life centered around teens and the stuff (movies, activities, books, etc) that teens in this type of drug/hippie culture are attracted to. As stated earlier on here, her friends included many many teens. I'm sure the authorities will be contacting a lot of the boys whose pictures are listed, if they haven't already. This could turn out to be quite a few more. I'm glad she finally got caught because Lord knows how long shes been doing this or how long it would of continued. I can only pray that the damaged she imposed on her children can be healed and they will be able to overcome this. The teenage boys should also get some professional help (mental and drug), this has to be hard on them and their families. I can only imagine what their going through, threats from her friends and other druggies for doing what was right, for finally putting an end to her sick way of life.The authorities really need dwell deeply into this case and follow all leads to help curtail the drug problem here in JC. Sounds like she was providing a lot of other drugs besides pot.

Unbiased Jury should be no problem at all. Once the evidence is presented they will have no problem making the right call. If only she had not been so bold and confident that she would not be found out, she may have gotten away with it.. At least for a while longer.

Seems she thinks of herself as a teenager and not an adult. For some reason (insanity) she thinks she has to mess around with teen boys. But I find it interesting that they went to her house to visit her. If this was rape why would they continue to go to her house, have sex, drink and do drugs? Because they are teen boys who think it's cool to be with an older woman? Why now, two years later, are they pressing charges? Is it because as they have gotten older they realize that she's a predator and not a plaything for teens?

I believe you read things wrong. She picked them up and brought them to her house, supplied them with drugs/alcohol, then had sex with them. It was not 2 years ago. 6 months ago on the first victim and November on the second.

Why can't JCPD prioritize DRUGS and get rid of the druggies in this town? We have so many problems due to drugs, but yet they have more officers assigned to giving out speeding tickets and parking tickets.

What is wrong with this town! Get focused on cleaning up the druggies and get the derilicts out of this town. Quit harrassing the drivers.

I agree 100%. JCPD and Cole County Law Enforcement need to do a major sweep. Start in the highschoools first. Teenagers will talk and they'll get the leads. Once they do a couple dozen busts around town, it will get too hot for the dealers and they'll leave or end up in jail. This worked in Cedar Rapids. Took about one summer of Law enforcement doing daily busts, cracking down on dealers and throwing the riff raff in the pokey. It dried up the drug trafficing for quite a while (even though some came back) BUT not near as bad! Dealers and the the druggies know Cedar Rapids authorities do not mess around. Courts impose the max too.

I met Amy a few months back. If you didn't know her age and that she has children, you would think she was a teenaged girl. She is very immature and doesn't take very good care of her children unfortunately. She's a party girl. I just think she can't make friends her own age because most of them act like adults and she acts like she's a 15 year old girl. I don't agree with what she's done. I hung out with her once because I was told by a 15 year old family member that she was "really cool" but because of her immaturity, I couldn't hang out with her again. Her parenting skills upset me quite a bit. I was constantly telling my 15 year old relative not hang out with her because people would get the wrong impression but he said his 17 year old friend was dating her. I asked her then if she had a boyfriend but she said no. She has some serious issues to think it's ok to have sex with kids. I think she thinks she's still in highschool.

I had the same experience with her. I stopped talking to her because of her involvement with drugs and teenage kids. I wonder what will happen to her boys. I wish the best for them, although I'm not very optimistic. CPS has already failed them once.

I'm going to be point blank on this subject. This woman has problems, but the boys are not without blame either. How many times have we seen this in the media in the last 10 years? Teenage boys are overflowing with hormones and will jump at the chance to have sex with an older woman. How many movies have been made where the entire plot revolves around a young man's pursuit of booze and sex? What about Garth Brooks' hit song "That Summer"? It's in the culture. Mature adult men will never admit it (most of them anyhow), but this is every teenage boy's fantasy. Some older woman is going to fill you with booze and pot, then she's going to... you know what she did. Not very many teenagers are going to "just say no" (with all due respect to Nancy Reagan).

I am in no way condoning it, but it happens. The first boy could be considered a victim, but as he bragged of his conquest (don't kid yourself, you know he did) other boys were going to naturally follow suit and seek this troubled woman. One can almost hear the conversation of the boys as the first one tells his buddies every detail. Once parents found out it was a matter of time before this woman wound up behind bars. There's no real use in arguing over whom exploited who in this situation.

Who cares boys hormones may have played a role.. It just doesn't matter. Nor does it matter if there was some bragging going around. .The fact remains that an adult has the responsibility to influence kids in the right way. The fact also remains that these boys were only 15 and she is 28. No matter if and why they consented the position of consenting should never have been given in the first place, again the responsibility was on her. You say other boys would "seek" her? Did it ever occur to you that she may have been the seeker? She hangs with teens, meets them, supplies them with whatever she or they may want, therefore portraying herself as a person of trust and coolness, taking them back to her house and engaging in sex and God knows what else. Have any idea how hard it must have been on these boys to come forward and face the chance of humiliation, ridicule, and threats from many teens that are upset that the cool person was turned in? Party house has been shut down.

Lady, you are trying to make saints out of boys that were obviously looking for a good time. The reason stated in the article that she was caught is because one of the boys got busted by his mother. Those boys knew what they were doing with her. This would have gone on who knows how long had that not happened. The kid sold her down the river to save his own behind. I never said she wasn't to blame, but it takes two. Plus all of the uproar is about S-E-X. HAS NOBODY BEEN OUTRAGED ABOUT SUPPLYING MINORS WITH ALCOHOL OR DRUGS? Jefferson City is so full of hypocrites. Shocked by sex, then they drive to Columbia to the pxxn shops (seriously, p-o-r-n can't be used on this site?). That woman did seek out the boys, but funny thing is they could say "no". It's pretty simple: if you don't want sunburn, stay out of the sun. If you don't want to have sex with a deranged woman, don't go to her love shack. She didn't abduct them. I am surprised by the sheer ignorance of your reply. The best part is when the boys are all going to say "I didn't want to do it". You and other sheep are going to believe them. Use your head. Do yourself a favor and look up the word cougar online.

Life is just like this. A double standard. A female sex offender will get a lesser sentence, if not probation, than a male offender with the same aged victims and scenario.

LIke some of you, a jury will blame the victims and be sympathetic to leaving her 2 children at such a young age for prison. Beyond her arrest, I doubt she will ever serve one day in jail. She will go to some "treatment program" for wayward females, who themselves may have been victims and "didn't know any better".

Had the victims been teenage girls they would have been viewed as helpless little girls plowed by alcohol and drugs. But according to some, the boys "wanted it".

The feminist's who read this must be scathing at the lack of justice and the unequal portrayal of teen girls as weak minded victims, while boys are coerced into being "men".

Funny you should say cougar.. She in fact calls herself that very thing. At no point would I refer to the boys as saints, however I will say that these and other boys have been victimized by her head games. And if you would go back and read the article, you would see that the drugs and alcohol came before sex in which she supplied. No, I am not saying they should have followed her lead, but they did, and with that came the euphoria, easily leading to sex. These boys never once said they didn't want to do it, of course they would, they are 15 year old boys with raging hormones which were enhanced by the eagerness of the predators desire to fill them with mood enhancing items. Would they have engaged in sex without those, who knows,but it did happen after the fact, The fact of the matter remains.. The adult was in control.. 100% of the time. Adult verses kids, it clearly speaks for itself as to who had the control. I am sure that they dealt with some kind of punishment for being where they were not suppose to be, and participating in the taking of drugs and or alcohol, however they hold little :"blame" for what led up to that and what happened after that. The coming forward was done I am sure because it was brought to them how wrong it is and I am sure they thought if it was their female young relative it happened to with someone the same age as Amy W, they probably realized just how wrong it was.

I've read all the comments. The fact is she had sex with minors...it's rape even if the minor didn't necessarily object...because they are underage...Period. That is the law.

Now, think about this...what if this was your son? I have 3 young boys and I guarantee I would be flaming mad if someone did this to my teenage son! They'd have to peel me off of her (mama bear would be wanting a piece of that cougar)... even if my son knew it was wrong...drugs and alcohol make people do stupid things all the time. I would be upset with my son too, but moreso with her as she is the adult and definitely knew better.

Rape by women is not as common which is why all the uproar, but it does happen. You can't have a "double standard"...if it's wrong for girls, it's equally wrong for boys.
