Stained Glass Theatre presents ‘U-u-ugly Duckling’ this month

Colorful noses and feathered behinds, a red barn with a pond, and a timeless story merge on the Stained Glass Theatre of Mid-Missouri stage to perform “The U-uugly Duckling” by R. Eugene Jackson Jan. 6-22.

The fun-loving adventure follows newly hatched Summer, who receives ridicule for her appearance that is so different from her duck family. But in the end, her journey leads her to discover her true identity.

The first performance is 7:30 p.m. Jan. 6. The play runs through Jan. 22. Tickets are $7 and are available in advance at www.sgt midmo.org.
