If the games are going to be this great, the Jefferson City Jays and Blair Oaks Falcons should play each other every year.
The squads played a wildly entertaining game Wednesday, with the Jays emerging with a 72-65 win in a loser’s bracket game of the Mike Kehoe Great 8 Classic.
Jefferson City coach David Fox said he was glad to see his team take care of business against Blair Oaks in what he believed was the first basketball meeting between the schools.
