Coyotes get past Jays

West Creek didn’t look like a second-year team, and it surely didn’t play like one.

The Jefferson City Jays were dealt a tough hand in the opening round of the Mike Kehoe Great 8 Classic, as the Coyotes rolled to a 76-58 win Tuesday night at Fleming Fieldhouse.

“We knew they were a very good team coming in,” Jays coach David Fox said.
