Hawthorn Bank on West Truman Boulevard in Jefferson City is the second bank in two weeks to be the victim of a robbery.
The Jefferson City Police Department reported that approximately 5:30 p.m., an unidentified male in a grey four-door vehicle drove up to the drive-through lane at Hawthorn Bank at 3701 West Truman Boulevard.
According to initial reports, the suspect brandished a weapon and demanded money. The teller then dropped to the floor to move out of the line of the weapon.
