Sharon Hoge named State Employee of the Month

A high learning curve came with more than a 200 percent increased workload while the workforce dwindled.

Nonetheless, Sharon Hoge brought a smile and cheery disposition to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Hoge, who was the coordinator of curriculum and assessment at the time, took on many roles in addition to her own job duties as director of curriculum.
