With an eye toward the future, the Jefferson City Lady Jays want to use this week’s State Farm Holiday Hoops Invitational as a learning experience.
“You never know, in district week, you may be playing back-to-back nights where you have to prepare on the fly like you do in this tournament,” Lady Jays coach Shane Meyer said.
Jefferson City (3-3) opens the State Farm Holiday Hoops Invitational at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday against West Creek (2-7) of Clarksville, Tenn., at Rackers Fieldhouse.
