In the four years they’ve been invited to the Mike Kehoe Great 8 Classic, the Blair Oaks Falcons have won only two of their 12 games.

“The record isn’t that good, but our kids aren’t worried about our history,” Blair Oaks coach Ryan Fick said as the Falcons prepared to take on Evangelical Christian from Cordova, Tenn., at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the opening round of the tournament at Fleming Fieldhouse in Jefferson City.

Blair Oaks (4-1) got the season started on the right foot with three straight wins.
