On Monday, the Special Learning Center in Jefferson City was host as visitors made it a day to remember for students and staff.
Former Major League Baseball pitcher Tom Henke of Taos presented a $52,500 check representing the proceeds from the annual Tom Henke Golf Tournament.
In addition to Henke and friends from the Cosmopolitan Club, Santa made an appearance and students from Immanuel Lutheran stayed throughout the morning to help with duties at the school.

I would not hesitate to send my kids to Immanual - Honey Creek! They learn academics, religion, and character there.
Thanks kids!
