Work winding down on McCarty Street

Open to through traffic

Jefferson City business owners on the east end of McCarty Street are hoping word gets out that people can get through their area now that street improvements are nearing completion.

City officials have put up signs to show East McCarty Street is now open to through traffic on the entire new stretch from U.S. 50/63 to St. Louis Road, although some construction work remains, and access to Algoa Road and Tomahawk Drive is still shut off pending completion of that intersection.
