Former resident, governor’s son will be honored after death

Former Jefferson City resident James T. (Jim Tom) Blair III, an amateur golfer and son of a former Missouri governor, died last week in Frontenac at age 79, but not before being voted into the Missouri Golf Association’s Hall of Fame.
Blair, a 1949 Jefferson City High School graduate, will be added to the MGA’s Hall of Fame next summer.
