O’FALLON, Mo. (AP) — A St. Charles County woman has died after her minivan plunged into icy water.
Sixty-one-year-old Ladonna Weeks of Defiance was rescued Monday after a passerby saw the minivan, which had slid down an embankment along Highway F and became party submerged in water. She died later Monday at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says ice on the roadway may be to blame.
