JC panel to suggest staggered starts at schools

Starting times for Jefferson City’s public schools will change, if the Board of Education adopts a proposal from the superintendent’s transportation committee.

In a letter sent to district parents Tuesday, Superintendent Brian Mitchell said he was pleased to report that the district already has made significant improvements in traffic flow at schools, particularly at Lewis and Clark Middle School and the Simonsen Ninth Grade Center.

So it has worked fine for decades, but NOW we NEED to change school times? My kid doesn't know when to get up now with the way iy is, let alone stagger it more. Comon' ....
