JC panel to suggest staggered starts at schools
Wednesday, December 15, 2010
Starting times for Jefferson City’s public schools will change, if the Board of Education adopts a proposal from the superintendent’s transportation committee.
In a letter sent to district parents Tuesday, Superintendent Brian Mitchell said he was pleased to report that the district already has made significant improvements in traffic flow at schools, particularly at Lewis and Clark Middle School and the Simonsen Ninth Grade Center.
More information on the recommendations is available on the district’s website, www.jcps.k12.mo.us.
