Callaway County sheriff's deputies say a Holts Summit man has been arrested on suspicion that he held up a convenience store on Saturday.
The suspect -- Arthur Allen III, 36 -- allegedly put up a struggle with officers on Tuesday as they attempted to take him into custody at a residence southwest of Holts Summit, where they found the getaway vehicle believed to have been used in the robbery.
Deputies went to the home after receiving information related to the hold up.
Allen was transported to the Callaway County Jail in Fulton, where he faces charges of armed robbery, resisting arrest and armed criminal action.
He's accused of brandishing a knife during the robbery at Breaktime on South Summit Drive. As part of the investigation, Holts Summit police studied surveillance camera footage from the convenience store and from the nearby Dollar General store, where the footage appears to show the suspect stealing items used for the disguise he used at Breaktime.
