At Missouri’s Division of Employment Security, Gracia Backer’s director title takes on a dual meaning during the holidays.

Since October, the agency director also has been directing a choir of about 40 employees in preparation for a Christmas performance.

The concert, free and open to the public, will take place at noon Wednesday in the cafeteria at the Employment Security building at 421 E. Dunklin St. in Jefferson City.
