As the year comes to a close, Cole County is quickly approaching the one-year anniversary of the discovery of the error in its surtax distribution formula.
Since the error was first discovered, there have been many questions that have developed surrounding the issue.
In an effort to address many of those issues and to show where all of the parties currently stand, the News Tribune prepared a brief overview of the situation in a questions-and-answers format.
