Wreath for Nixon a reminder of veterans' service

Every governor receives one as part of Wreaths Across America

Gov. Jay Nixon played host to Missouri Patriot Guard Riders on Monday, as they dedicated a wreath to honor and remember Missouri's veterans.

Similar ceremonies were held in each state capital Monday, as the Wreaths Across America presented a wreath to each of the 50 U.S. governors.

Joe Smith of Lake Ozark, representing the Patriot Guard Riders, led a brief ceremony in Nixon's office, using the same words as others across the country.
