PITTSBURGH (AP) - Sidney Crosby scored a goal and set up another, and the Pittsburgh Penguins matched the second-longest winning streak in franchise history, winning their 10th in a row by beating the New Jersey Devils 2-1 on Monday night.

Marc-Andre Fleury, 11-0-1 in his last 12 starts, made 27 saves as the Penguins matched a 10-game winning streak from Jan. 28-Feb. 15, 1999.

Crosby leads the NHL with 24 goals and 24 assists for 48 points. He failed to get a hat trick for the third consecutive home game, but has nine goals in five games and six in three games.

Crosby's 16-game scoring streak (18 goals, 15 assists) is the league's longest this season and ties for the second longest of his career.

The Penguins won their sixth in a row at home despite going 0 for 6 on the power play.

New Jersey (8-17-2) lost its fourth in five games despite Johan Hedberg's 32 saves.

Chris Kunitz, who assisted on Crosby's goal, also scored.

New Jersey, winless in six consecutive road games, had taken a 1-0 lead on Brian Rolston's first goal in 10 games.

Sharks 5, Red Wings 2

DETROIT (AP) - Logan Couture scored twice, including the go-ahead goal 8 seconds after Niclas Wallin's goal, to lift San Jose over Detroit.

Tomas Holmstrom and Johan Franzen each had go-ahead goals in the first period, but the Western Conference-leading Red Wings couldn't hold either lead. Joe Thornton made it 1-all late in the frame and Dany Heatley gave San Jose a two-goal lead late in the second.

Couture sealed the victory in the third with his second goal.

San Jose's Antti Niemi made 25 saves. Jimmy Howard had 30 for Detroit, which fell to 10-2-2 at home.

San Jose improved to 6-5-2 on the road and moved out of last place in Pacific Division. Maple Leafs 5, Capitals 4, SO

WASHINGTON (AP) - Mikhail Grabovski scored the lone shootout goal and Toronto rallied from three goals down in the third period to beat Washington.

Jonas Gustavsson was perfect in the tiebreaker, making Grabovski's goal stand up.

Washington carried a 4-1 lead into the third period, but Grabovski, Tim Brent and Clarke MacArthur all had goals to get the Maple Leafs even. Brent and MacArthur scored 59 seconds apart, with MacArthur tying it 4-4 with 1:24 left in regulation.

Mathieu Perreault had his first career two-goal game for Washington. Alex Ovechkin and Mike Knuble also scored. The Capitals matched a season high with their third straight loss.

MacArthur tallied twice and Grabovski had a goal and an assist for the Maple Leafs.

Blue Jackets 3, Stars 2, SO

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Rookie Kyle Wilson scored on his first career shootout attempt to help Columbus end a five-game skid and snap Dallas' six-game winning streak.

Rick Nash, who also scored in the shootout for Columbus, tied the game with 46.1 seconds left in regulation with his 14th goal.

Steve Ott and Brad Richards had goals for the Stars, who were trying to match the franchise record of seven consecutive wins.

After Nash and Richards scored in the shootout, Wilson went third and used a hard forehand to beat Kari Lehtonen on the stick side.

Mathieu Garon then made a right toe save on Jamie Benn to seal the win.

Kris Russell also scored for the Blue Jackets. Garon made 16 saves through overtime and two more in the shootout.

Thrashers 3, Predators 2, OT

ATLANTA (AP) - Zach Bogosian scored 2:11 into overtime, Ondrej Pavelec made 27 saves, and Atlanta rallied from a two-goal deficit to top Nashville.

The Thrashers have won two straight and eight of nine, including six consecutive victories at home.

Nashville ended a three-game winning streak.

Nashville led 2-0 in the first period. Colin Wilson snapped a wrist shot from the top of the slot at 8:39 for his fifth goal. Steve Sullivan's eighth of the season, a tip-in, gave the Predators a two-goal cushion 2:30 later.

The Thrashers cut the deficit to 2-1 on Jim Slater's fourth goal 14:25 into the second. Andrew Ladd's 10th goal tied it.
