COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Sidney Crosby had two goals to extend his point streak to 15 games, and the Pittsburgh Penguins won their ninth straight by routing the Columbus Blue Jackets 7-2 on Saturday night.

Even without top forward Evgeni Malkin, who was sidelined by a knee injury, the Penguins didn't miss a beat. Crosby has five goals in two games.

Paul Martin set the tone with two first-period goals, and Michael Rupp, Tyler Kennedy and Deryk Engelland also scored for the Penguins, who have points in 12 consecutive games (11-0-1). Pittsburgh won on the road for the sixth straight time.

Marc-Andre Fleury tied a career high with his eighth consecutive win, stopping 21 shots.

The Blue Jackets dropped their fifth in a row, losing by a combined 12-2 in a little over 24 hours.

Flyers 5, Devils 3

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Mike Richards scored a tiebreaking goal early in the third period to lead Philadelphia over New Jersey.

James Van Riemsdyk, Claude Giroux, Danny Briere, and Jeff Carter also scored for the Flyers, who were 0-1-2 in their previous three games. Carter and Matt Carle each added two assists.

Richard, who also had an assist, deflected a slap shot from just inside the blue line by Chris Pronger, giving the Flyers a 3-2 lead at 3:37 of the final period.

Ilya Kovalchuk and Travis Zajac also scored for the Devils, and Jamie Langenbrunner had two assists. New Jersey has lost three of four, with the only win coming in a shootout against the Flyers last Saturday. The Devils have also lost five straight on the road.

Thrashers 3, Capitals 1

WASHINGTON (AP) - Ondrej Pavelec stopped 45 shots, Andrew Ladd and Rich Peverley each had a goal and an assist, and Atlanta snapped a nine-game losing streak in Washington.

It was the seventh win in eight games for the Thrashers, a run that began with Pavelec blanking Washington in Atlanta on Nov. 19. The Thrashers are 3-1-1 against the Capitals after going 0-6 in last season's series.

Alex Ovechkin's goal-scoring drought ended at a career-high tying nine games, but the Capitals fell to 12-2-1 at home with their first loss against Atlanta at Verizon Center since February 2008.

Washington went 0 for 5 on the power play.

Lightning 6, Avalanche 5

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Martin St. Louis and Simon Gagne each had a goal and two assists, leading Tampa Bay over Colorado.

St. Louis, Mattias Ritola and Gagne scored in the second period to give Tampa Bay a 4-2 advantage. The first two goals came 52 seconds apart, less than three minutes in.

Paul Stastny, Brandon Yip, Milan Hejduk, Philippe Dupuis and Matt Duchene scored for Colorado.

Stastny's 10th goal of the season 1:24 into the third got the Avalanche within one but Ryan Malone scored his seventh for Tampa Bay and helped set up Sean Bergenheim to make it 6-3 with 4:05 left.

Stars 4, Wild 3, OT

DALLAS (AP) - Stephane Robidas scored a power-play goal at 3:37 of overtime and Dallas stretched its winning streak to six games by beating Minnesota.

Adam Burish put Dallas ahead early in the third period, Karlis Skrastins notched his first goal of the season, and Steve Ott scored during a power play for the Stars, 8-0-1 in their last nine at home.

Kari Lehtonen made 28 saves for Dallas.

Antti Miettinen, Chuck Kobasew and Martin Havlat scored for Minnesota, which rallied from deficits of 2-0 and 3-2.

Maple Leafs 3, Bruins 2, SO

TORONTO (AP) - Kris Versteeg scored the tying goal with just over 40 seconds left in regulation and Phil Kessel netted the winner in a shootout in Toronto's victory over Boston.

Carl Gunnarsson also scored for the Maple Leafs, who snapped a two-game losing streak.

Nathan Horton and Gregory Campbell had goals for the Bruins, which lost for the fourth time in 10 games.

Versteeg made it 2-2 with 42 seconds remaining with a power-play goal.

Rookie Nazem Kadri, on his first career attempt, also scored in the shootout for Toronto.

Tyler Seguin scored Boston's shootout goal.

Sabres 1, Senators 0, SO

OTTAWA (AP) - Thomas Vanek scored the winning goal in the shootout as Buffalo edged Ottawa.

Vanek fired a slap shot past Brian Elliott from the slot to lift the visiting Sabres. Ryan Miller was perfect at the other end, stopping 32 shots for his second straight shutout.

Elliott was nearly as good with 31 saves, but the Senators are still searching for their offense.

Ottawa has been shut out in two consecutive games and hasn't scored in 177 minutes, 30 seconds. The Senators have won just three of their last 12 and have been outscored 38-17.

Panthers 2, Coyotes 1, SO

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Michael Frolik scored in regulation and in the fifth round of a shootout, and backup Scott Clemmensen stopped 40 shots in Florida's win against Phoenix.

Frolik scored in the second period, then squeezed a shot between Ilya Bryzgalov's pads in the shootout after Clemmensen stopped Lauri Korpikoski at the other end.

Clemmensen stopped two other shots in the shootout in his first start in place of Tomas Vokoun this season to help Florida pull out a tough win after losing five of six.

Martin Hanzal scored his seventh goal in regulation and Bryzgalov made 36 saves, but Phoenix failed on its final two shootout chances for its third loss in four games.

Canadiens 3, Sharks 1

MONTREAL (AP) - Mathieu Darche, Tomas Plekanec and Michael Cammalleri scored and Montreal won consecutive games for the first time in more than two weeks by beating San Jose.

Carey Price stopped 26 shots for Montreal, 3-0-1 in its last four games. The Canadiens, who won 5-1 in New Jersey on Thursday, had alternated wins and losses since Nov. 16.

Benn Ferreiro scored his third goal in four games for San Jose, which has alternated wins and losses since a 4-0-3 run from Nov. 6-18.

Antti Niemi made 16 saves after posting his - and the Sharks' - first shutout of the season in a 4-0 win Thursday night in Dany Heatley's return to Ottawa.

Montreal drew two minors, the only penalties called in the game.

Predators 5, Hurricanes 2

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Patric Hornqvist, Shea Weber and Marcel Goc scored in the first period, leading Nashville past Carolina.

Cal O'Reilly and Steve Sullivan had the other goals for the Predators, who have won three straight.

Joe Corvo and Jiri Tlusty scored for Carolina, which has dropped three of four.

Cam Ward made 34 saves for Carolina in his fifth consecutive start and second in two nights.

Nashville's Anders Lindback (4-1-1) had 28 stops in his first start since Nov. 7.

Kings 3, Red Wings 2, OT

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Anze Kopitar scored 4:04 into overtime, Justin Williams and defenseman Alec Martinez each had a goal and an assist, and Jonathan Quick made 27 saves to lead Los Angeles over Detroit.

Chris Osgood, starting in goal for Detroit for the first time since Oct. 30 after sitting out 13 games because of a groin injury, made 22 saves. Jonathan Ericsson and Todd Bertuzzi had the Red Wings' goals.

Oilers 2, Blues 1, OT

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) - Taylor Hall scored the winner 23 seconds into overtime as Edmonton extended its winning streak to four.

Hall, the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft, was sent in on a breakaway by Ryan Whitney and scored his ninth goal of the season and third in two games.

Ryan Jones also scored for the Oilers (10-12-4), who have won five of six.

Eric Brewer had the lone goal for St. Louis (12-9-4), which has dropped five straight. It is the Blues' longest stretch without a win since December 2008.
