Man charged after drug bust

An Osage Beach man has been charged in connection with a drug bust Wednesday.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, officers of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group, Camden County Sheriff's Office, Osage Beach Police Department and the patrol executed a search warrant on a residence at 4853 Gunn Road in Osage Beach.

Approximately 1 1 /2 pounds of marijuana, illegal prescription drugs, a firearm with ammunition and $1,140 were seized. Also located were numerous items of illegal drug packaging and distribution, and drug paraphernalia.

Ronald Ferry, 41, was arrested at the scene and was formally charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a weapon and a misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ferry is currently held on a $50,000 cash and a $150,000 surety bond.
