Earning honors

The Jefferson City Jays had 11 players recently named to the Class 3 All-District 9 team as selected by the coaches.

The Jays, who finished the season 15-8-1, had four players earn first-team honors.

C.J. Loehner received first-team recognition at goalie, while Tanner Bone was picked as a defender. Nick Anglen landed on the first-team as a midfielder and Tyler Luebbert was named at forward.

Cole Baumgartner, Sergio Celada and Claude Ruboneka made the second team as defenders. Adam Luektemeyer was the lone midfielder.

Receiving honorable mention for the Jays were Dylan Brauner and Nathan Luebbert at midfield and Aaron Crane at forward.
