What's wrong about this? One less case our court system has to deal with. Case closed, move on.

The lady was not a hostage. She was a friend who voluntarily went with the shooter and voluntarily exited the vehicle when law enforcement became involved.

She tried to talk him out of suicide while in the vehicle. When unsuccessful she voluntarily exited.

He fled the scene to be out of her sight when he finally ended his life.

There was no violence directed at any individual other than himself.

Yeah tholt..one less case, one more mother grieving the loss of a troubled son who did not harm anyone other than himself.
