Falcons, Pintos to meet for Eugene Tournament title

EUGENE, Mo. — The Blair Oaks Falcons outscored Eldon 18-12 in the fourth quarter Wednesday to advance to the championship game of the Eugene Invitational with a 67-64 comeback win.

The Falcons take on California at 4 p.m. Saturday.

In the other semifinal game, the Pintos defeated the high-scoring Eugene Eagles 57-40. Eugene will take on Eldon at 1 p.m. Saturday for third place.

In a loser’s bracket game, the St. Elizabeth Hornets earned a 60-59 victory over the Russellville Indians. St. Elizabeth will face Versailles in the fifth-place game at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
