Jefferson City touts success of latest roundabout

For Matt Morasch, the most noticeable improvement is what you don't see at the new roundabout for the intersection of Tanner Bridge Road and Ellis Boulevard.

"When you go to the peak hour, whether it is morning or evening, you see very little delay at all," the deputy director of Jefferson City public works services said.

The roundabout, which opened to traffic less than two weeks ago, took an intersection that Morasch said averaged a wait of five or more minutes at peak hours and reduced it to "a handful of seconds."
