Armed Robbery
On January 6, 2011 just after 9:00 a.m., the Jefferson City Police Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call from a victim in the 300 block of Jackson who stated she had just been robbed. The suspect, according to the victim, confronted her and held a knife to her throat, demanding her purse and car keys. The suspect took the victims’ purse and was able to locate and steal her vehicle, a silver Pontiac bearing Missouri license WC6K7D. The victim, a 36 year-old Rocky Mount resident, was unharmed during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a heavy set black male, medium height, dressed in all black and armed with a knife.
Jefferson City Police Detectives were called to the scene and are currently investigating.
