Sarah Koetting, Osage Bend, and Codie Goeke, Bloomsdale, were married at 2 p.m., July 9, at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, Osage Bend. Rev. I.C. Medina performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Craig and Vickie Koetting, Osage Bend. The groom is the son of Scott and Lisa Goeke, Bloomsdale. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a lace and tulle A-line dress accented with a beaded waist. She carried a bouquet of ivory and white roses with blue hydrangeas and berries. The attendants were Jessica Anderson, Bloomsdale, friend of the bride; Lauren VanderFeltz, Taos, sister of the bride; Annie Pickard, Imperial, sister of the groom; and Britney Prenger, Taos, friend of the bride. They wore slate blue chiffon dresses. The best man was Johnny Hendrix, Bloomsdale, friend of the groom. The groomsmen included: David Midkiff, Bloomsdale, friend of the groom; Mike Pickard, Imperial, brother-in-law of the groom; and Jacob Koelling, Osage Bend, cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Stormie Hendrix, daughter of Johnny Hendrix, Bloomsdale, friend of the couple. The ring bearer was Brady Balkenbusch, son of Jeff and Janna Balkenbusch, St. Peters, cousin of the bride. The ushers were Jeff Koetting, Portland, uncle of the bride; and Kaleb VanderFeltz, Taos, brother-in-law of the bride. The organist was Janelle Klebba, Osage Bend. The vocalists were Laurie Koelling, McKenzie Koelling and Shelbi Koelling, all of Osage Bend; and Emily Sommerer, Jefferson City, all friends of the bride. The Mass servers were Cameron Ashley and Claire Ashley, both of Jefferson City. The lector was Alee Koetting, Henley, cousin of the bride. Offertory was presented by Linda Backof, Shrewsbury, godmother of the groom; Brenda Stegeman, Taos, godmother of the bride; and Doug Koetting, Henley, godfather of the bride. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the Osage Bend Parish Hall. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held July 8 at the Osage Bend Hall. The bride is a 2014 graduate of Blair Oaks High School, Wardsville, and a 2017 graduate of Jefferson College, Hillsboro, with an Associate Degree in Business Management. The groom is a 2011 graduate of St. Genevieve High School, St. Genevieve, and a 2013 graduate of Jefferson College with an Associate Degree in Automotive. After a wedding trip to Branson, the couple resides in Bloomsdale.
