New Bloomfield Christmas parade set

The 21st annual New Bloomfield Christmas parade is set for 2 p.m. Dec. 6.

Parade participants should enter the high school driveway directly off Route J, just west of the Methodist Church. Oak Street will be closed from noon-2 p.m. on parade day.

The route for the parade is Route J from Oak Street, west on Route J to Elm Street, south on Elm to Glenwood Drive, east on Glenwood to AE (Old Highway 54), north on AE to Route J, west on Route J back to the high school.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the best floats. Judging will be done before the parade starts, and all floats must be ready for judging at 1:30 p.m.

Marshals for the parade are Warren and Mona Lester, owners of Bill's Service. They are being honored for their continued support to the community.
