Fundraising dinner for animal shelter set

Friends of the Jefferson City Animal Shelter is sponsoring a chicken dinner fundraiser from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 6 to build a new animal shelter.

The dinner will be at the Eagles Club, and the menu includes fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cole slaw, bread, coffee and tea. Tickets are $10 each.

There will also be a silent auction, sales table, raffle and photo T-shirts.
