It took a Cole County jury about 30 minutes to find a Jefferson City man guilty of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Curtis Wilbers, 51, of 11127 Deer Run Road, is scheduled to be back before Judge Richard Callahan on Dec. 14.

According to sheriff's department reports, members of the department's SWAT team and officers from the MUSTANG Drug Task force went to Wilbers residence on the night of July 30, 2008, and served a search warrant.

While searching the residence, officers found $4,207 in cash, approximately eight grams of methamphetamine, two sets of digital scales, prescription pills and other drug paraphernalia.
