Miller County wreck claims two lives

Two men died in a head-on collision Saturday in Miller County.

Jeffrey B. Harris, 47, Lebanon, and Bradley M. Arndt, 29, Iberia, were killed in the 3:20 p.m. crash, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.

Harris was eastbound on Missouri 42 just west of Blackmore Road when he crossed the center line and was struck head-on by Arndt's westbound vehicle. The county coroner pronounced both men dead at the scene following the wreck.

Arndt was wearing a seat belt but Harris was not, the patrol said.
