People for Peace not just protesting but promoting

Whether in brittle cold weather or beating-down heat, a handful of "peacenics" persevere for their cause on the corner of Washington and West High streets each Wednesday at noon.

Carrying his large, blue, Earth flag, Dick Dalton knows he's making a difference to promote a more cooperative attitude between Americans and the world, plus Americans and the environment.

"I'm here to express my beliefs by living it," said Dalton, a Lincoln University professor.

He helped organized a rally and parade in 2003. But he has continued his public appearances each Wednesday.

" Progrresive peaceniks, If one of these terrorists rape his wife and kill his kids I wonder if hes going to be standing on that street corner. He probably will because the real men and women will be fighting for his right to stand on that street corner and wrap himself with the American flag. What a bunch of Hipocrites. NT will be standing there also wiping there backsides with the Declaration of Independence. "

" Thats right NT encourage the commie loving apologists. people like this prolong wars they don't stop them. The blood from the cambodian killing fields are on the hands of peaceniks like this. They don't care about peace they just hate America, and don't care who gets hurt in the process. This is their right, but it's sickening. "
