Proposal includes abortion provision

Dear Editor:

Did you know, your tax dollars will pay for abortions?

Massive health care reform legislation will be in the House and Senate after Labor Day. Both HR3200 in the House and the Kennedy Health Care bill in the Senate would represent the greatest expansion of abortion since Roe v Wade.

Both bills will result in federally mandated coverage of abortion on demand in virtually all of America's Health plans.

Unless abortion funding is specifically excluded, it will be allowed and funding would be greatly expanded

Let us adamantly oppose this legislation unless the exception of abortions is included.

Call the White House at 202-456-1111. Call your legislators: US Sen. Claire McCaskill, 202-224-6154; US Sen. Christopher Bond 202-224-5721; US Rep. Ike Skelton 202-225-2876. Now is the time for our voice to be heard.
