McCaskill to host 3 more health care forums

HANNIBAL, Mo. (AP) -- Sen. Claire McCaskill will be back in Missouri on Monday, hosting three more forums on health care reform.

The events are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. in Hannibal, 1 p.m. in Moberly and 4:30 p.m. in Kansas City.

Several health care forums around the country have turned boisterous in recent weeks as Congress weighs reforms to the nation's health care system. Six people were arrested earlier this month in St. Louis County at a forum hosted by another Missouri Democrat, Rep. Russ Carnahan.

A McCaskill forum last week in Kennett was relatively calm, but forums in Poplar Bluff and Hillsboro drew louder and sometimes angry crowds. One arrest was made at the Hillsboro event.
