" What the sheriff has chosen to say and what he has chosen not to disclose are interesting points to consider. Don't be too quick to make judgments on this incident based only on what has been reported by the media. "

" Also, Sheriff Gump arrived is not spelled "arrivved". Geez at least use spell checker. "

" Back to the story, I heard on the news that this is the second time this year that Mr. Summerford has had a assult problem and is on probation for a incident earlier this year already. "

" I wonder the same thing about the sheriff because I live in the same area as he and the stuff that goes on in our area makes me wonder if he is ever around. "

" I have been impressed with the sheriff and see him often out doing his job. Thank you to the sheriff by the way for helping fight the fire in Tipton the other week. It's nice knowing someone is out there on our side with a heart that cares. "

" What planet is the fair goer living on? This is a serious issue and they are just worried about the fair..............GET A GRIP...........there are ALOT of things more important than "The Fair", duh! "

" i would like to say something about the fair. i wish they would move the beer garden to the back if they have to have it. so you don't have to walk by all the drunks with your children when you try to have a family night. you might get more people to come if you would designate a certain night just for family night and not have all the drunks at the gate to greet them .thanks "
