Discovery of teens in trunk leads to Camden County charges

By way of The Associated Press
Published: Tuesday, July 21, 2009 8:32 AM CDT
CAMDENTON, Mo. -- Two people face charges after three teenage boys were found riding in the trunk of a packed car in mid-Missouri.

Twenty-one-year-old Cindy Feltner and 18-year-old Dustin McDonald of Lebanon were charged last week in Camden County with child endangerment.

Camden Police Chief Laura Wright says the teenagers had been swimming when Feltner and McDonald told them to get in the trunk of the compact car.

The chief says the group made two trips to pick everyone up during the day, and decided to try and cram everyone inside for the trip back to Lebanon.

Someone at a convenience store noticed the boys get in the trunk and called police. When the car was stopped, there were five people and a dog in the car besides the three teens in the trunk.

The teens were unhurt.

Does anyone remember the story about the drug bust where the cops found a dead baby in the trunk??? At the time, they didn't know who the baby belonged to or what happended to it. Was there ever any follow up on that story? "
