Local resident will sing National Anthem at Cardinals ballgame

Michelle Kelley loves Cardinal Baseball and singing.

For the last seven years she has been able to combine her two loves when she takes the field and sings the National Anthem.

In 2003, Kelley was at a game, as she had been many times before, when she decided to find out if she could sing at the stadium.

"I thought it was worth a try," she recalled.

This year she will be singing at the 7:15 p.m. game on July 17, the first game after the All Star game. St. Louis will play the Arizona Diamondbacks.
