Mid-Missouri seniors picked for Missouri Challenge

Basketball event set for May 29-30 in Columbia

The Missouri Basketball Coaches Association has announced the rosters and brackets for its inaugural Missouri Challenge, which replace the All-Star competition held in Springfield for several years.

The format is an eight-team, single-elimination tournament for both boys and girls made up of teams representing the association's eight districts. The teams feature top graduating seniors on rosters selected by members of the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association.

The teams will be coached by MBCA members during the tournaments, which will be played May 29-30 at Columbia College. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door.
