Soccer Jays fall to Glendale

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays found themselves in a hole early during Saturday's Class 3 quarterfinals against Glendale, and they never got out of it.
Glendale scored three goals in the first half and held off the Jays (13-14-1) in the second half to go on to post a 3-0 shutout.
“It was a good postseason ride,” Jays coach Eddie Horn said. “We just ran into a team that was better than us today.”
