Boonville teeming with tales from state's past

Situated on the Missouri River, Boonville's history dates back to the early pioneer days of Hannah Cole - dubbed the first female pioneer.

Although the community carries the name of Nathan and Daniel Boone, Cole is credited as the founder of Boonville.
