Alec Guinness Film Festival planned

The Missouri River Regional Library's Readers Eye group is hosting the Alec Guinness Film Festival.

The movies include: Sept. 4 showing of “Great Expectations” (1946); Sept. 12 showing of “Kind Hearts and Coronets” (1949); Sept. 18 showing of “Man in the White Suit” and the Sept. 25 showing of “The Lavender Hill Mob” (1951).

The four movies will each be screened at 1:30 p.m. in the Jefferson City library's art gallery.
